ETC, EPAY, and Business France organise "ID Reading Solution and Application in Vietnam Event"

The event "ID Reading Solution and Application in Vietnam" was organised yesterday afternoon by ETC and EPAY in collaboration with Business France (French Embassy). Mr. Yann Frollo De Kerlivio - Commercial Counsellor, Director of Asean Pacific, Business France Vietnam; Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the State Bank's Payment Department; and many other significant units such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietcombank, VietinBank, MBBank, and others attended the event.





Businesses and organisations attending the event learnt about the world's leading advanced chip-based citizen identity card readers and their applications in Vietnam. This might be considered a major and relevant turning point towards the objective of establishing an e-government, a digital economy, and a digital society. Simultaneously, it assists the government in transitioning from manual to modern population management, meeting the needs of integration into the international market and providing many practical benefits to citizens.
The event not only strengthens the friendship between Vietnam and France, but it also serves as an inspiration for extensive cooperation between the two countries, particularly as the two countries celebrate their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and ten years of strategic partnership.
